An intimate symbolic wedding ceremony in Paris is our speciality. We are in love with this engagement photo overlooking the Eiffel Tower.  The bride leaning against her groom, both looking stunning and happy, as they should be, while the sun goes down over Paris.

We have a list of some of the best spots to take those perfect iconic photos that show that you’re in Paris and not any other city, after all eloping to Paris is partially about the Parisian charm.

The photographer vendors we recommend are all English speaking and the best in Paris. They have years of professional experience at putting clients from different countries and cultures at ease before the camera.  This photo was taken by Olivier Lalin at Weddinglight Paris.

Our Hair and Make-up teams are also English speaking and are always available to receive photos of the brides dresses, hair etc before the meeting in Paris where you’ll get all dolled up.

Whatever location you choose to marry in Paris, or around France, we also have Male and Female Wedding celebrants that are bilingual and English speaking.

We provide a detailed description of the client needs to all vendors along with a timeline of your days activity. We eliminate the stress that can come with planning one of the most important days in your life. Weather you’re a very easy-going couple who just needs light planning assistance or a hands-on couple who needs more of a full planning service, we are here to help you in Paris or anywhere in France.

French Elegance at the Hotel Ritz Paris

When deciding on a wedding venue location, one of the most important elements is the romance factor.  For some couples, it has to be a grandiose fairy tale wedding with all of the bells and whistles.  Others wish for an intimate setting for only the two of them to revel in the magic of their day.

For both sides of the spectrum – and everything in between – the Hotel Ritz in Paris is the perfect setting for the most romantic day of your life.

Located near the Opéra Garnier, arguably one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, and in front of elegant column of Place Vendôme, the Hotel Ritz Paris is the perfect backdrop for your wedding and, of course, your wedding pictures.

    Closing and Renovation

However, for those wishing to indulge in this paradise, time is limited.  The Hotel Ritz in Paris will be closing for two years beginning in August 2012 for some much-needed renovations.  The last upgrades took place in 1979, and the owner, Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al Fayed, has planned to make many changes, while maintaining the integrity of the architecture and style of the Ritz.  Winner of the €140-million bid on the project, Bouygues Construction will be spearheading the remodeling, working with designer Thierry W. Despont.

According to Forbes.com, refurbishments include a full technological upgrade, an extension of the ballroom, additional suites, and a new summer restaurant with a retractable glass roof. During the restorations, the hotel’s restaurant and prestigious culinary school will also be closed. The new-and-improved Hotel Ritz Paris will reopen in 2014.

  • Wedding Reception at Les Deux Etangs

On one of my recent weddings, I had the pleasure to work once again with some of the best wedding and event vendors in Paris. John and Sayeh’s wedding was held at the St. James and Albany Hotel Spa in Paris and reception at Les Deux Etangs in the 16th Arrondisment, tucked in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris’s natural wild park thats lush with vegetation, fresh air and ponds. The bois de Boulogne was made into a park by Napoleon III in 1852. It was officially annexed by the city of Paris in 1929 and incorporated into the 16th arrondissement. Another prestigious house in the park is the chateau de Bagatelle with its beautiful French landscape garden. Not to forget the Pré Catelan, inaugurated in 1905, a luxurious Napoleon III pavilion that can host anywhere from twenty to 1400 guests!

  • Interview with Suzanne Ermann, Wedding Gown Designer in Paris

We met up with Suzanne Ermann a few days back in Paris. It was great meeting her and discussing on the art of the cutting, the love of work well done, the sense of perfection. All were part of Suzanne Ermann’s early days at the school of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris. After training at Chantal Thomas, Chanel and Thierry Mugler, she decides to launch “Suzanne Ermann” in Paris. She first opened a modest workshop rue de Seine. Her evening gown & cocktail dresses quickly drew attention from a large Parisian audience. Next, Suzanne Ermann wedding dresses emerged and have taken off ever since.
