A popular choice among couples deciding to elope is the gorgeous Chapelle Expiatoire located in the 8th arrondissement. It is a truly magnificent space that can be privatized for you and your partner’s special day.
Unlike other locations, the Chapelle Expiatoire does not require a marriage certificate to be presented. Prices vary according to time of year, day and time and bookings need to be done well in advance.

Most of you have probably seen one or more pictures of this location at one point in time when browsing through pictures of Paris. The Pont des Arts is a charming pedestrian bridge that crosses the Seine River and is filled with locks of lovers from all over the globe.
We encourage all of our couples who are interested in this site to bring their own personal lock and key to help celebrate their love and new life together.

Todd and Michelle, an American couple from Nevada wanted a charming outdoor location. So when we proposed the peaceful and romantic Parc Monceau they were very happy. It is a gorgeous public park tucked away in the 17th arrondissement.
Not only is this a beautiful location for a ceremony, but it is ideal budget-wise. Being that it is a public park, it is free for everyone to use. All that is needed is for you (or us) to find a location inside that fits you and your partners tastes. Todd and Michelle fell in love with this bridge and decided it was the perfect spot to celebrate their union. If this is a location that is of interest, you may want to view their elopement video shot by the talented WeddingLight team.

Jennifer and James, another American couple, wanted something a little out of the ordinary for their elopement. That lead us directly to the enchanting and magical gardens of Marie Antoinette in Versailles. Because of the location, we did have to get authorization. But if this is your elopement or wedding dream, know that it can be made possible with our help.

Dean and Rachel, were looking for something exquisite and being in charge of a wedding blog themselves, their taste was more than gourmand. Within minutes of the Eiffel tower, The Shangri-La Hotel is more than a luxury 5-star hotel, it’s a golden detailed dream of impeccable elegance.
Dean and Rachel had come to Paris the previous year when Dean had proposed. Olivier shot their proposal and some other lovely engagement portraits throughout Paris. Their wedding was exactly one year later and held entirely in the luxurious hotel, which is situated in the 16th arrondissement, just across from the Trocadéro. To take a deeper look at all the magic of the Shangri-La Hotel, be sure to watch Dean and Rachel’s elopement video.

The American Church of Paris was the first U.S. church to be establish on foreign grounds. They hold numerous elopement ceremonies inside their lovely establishment each and every year. There are some requirements, however, as they do ask for a marriage certificate. But, other than that, they offer a wonderful location for those couples looking for a more religious location and the ceremony includes an organist and celebrant.
